Google Pixel is Google's own flagship line, now in its 11th generation. The Pixel 11 series launched on 12 August 2026 with the Tensor G6 chip and Google's seven-year update promise.
In Pakistan, Pixel prices run from about Rs. 35,000 for older refurbished units up to Rs. 530,000 for a top-spec Pixel 11 Pro. The gap is that wide because of one thing: Google doesn't sell here officially.

Why There Are No Official Pixels Here
Google has no store, distributor, or warranty service in Pakistan. Every Pixel in the market is imported privately — mostly from Dubai, the US, or Japan — and usually arrives as a kit phone, meaning without full retail packaging.
These units land here non-PTA. And the tax to legalise them is brutal.
The PTA Tax Problem
This is the single biggest reason patched Pixels exist. Look at the actual numbers:

Registering a Pixel 11 Pro costs more than a decent midrange phone. That's why most sellers don't pay it and instead sell CPID or patched units.
A few rules worth knowing:
Tax doesn't change with storage — 128GB and 1TB pay the same
One CNIC can register 5 devices per year, maximum
Passport rates are lower but only apply to overseas Pakistanis and travellers
Once registered, the phone stays registered — resale needs no new tax
PTA, Non-PTA, or Patched?
PTA approved — Fully registered, works permanently on all networks. Most expensive.
Non-PTA — Works on local SIMs for 60 days, then the IMEI is blocked. Wi-Fi keeps working, but calls, SMS, and mobile data stop. Cheap now, tax later.
CPID / Patch — The IMEI is patched so the phone connects without tax being paid. Cheapest, and what most of the market is selling. It isn't legally registered, can stop working without warning, and there's no recourse if it does.
Two Things Sellers Won't Tell You
VoLTE often doesn't work. Pakistan isn't in Google's carrier configuration list, so VoLTE is unreliable on Pixels here. There are threads on Google's own support forum about exactly this, including one specifically about the Pixel 8 in Pakistan. Fixes exist but need manual tinkering.
5G is usually disabled. The hardware has the bands; the software support isn't there for unsupported markets. If a seller promises 5G, make them prove it with your SIM before you pay.
Add to that: no official warranty or repair. A broken Pixel means a third-party shop and hard-to-source parts.
Before You Pay
Get the status in writing — PTA, non-PTA, or patched. "Network supported" means patched.
Dial
*#06#, take the IMEI, and check it yourself on the PTA DIRBS portal.Put your own SIM in and test calls, mobile data, and VoLTE in the shop.
If it's non-PTA, add the tax to your budget before deciding it's cheap.
Buy from a seller who gives their own return window, since Google's warranty won't apply.
What to Buy at Each Budget
Rs. 35,000 – 60,000 — Pixel 3 to 5. Great cameras for the money, but software support has ended and batteries are aging.
Rs. 60,000 – 130,000 — Pixel 6 to 9a. The value sweet spot. Still receiving updates, still excellent cameras.
Rs. 200,000+ — Pixel 10 and 11 series. Latest Tensor chips and the full seven years of updates ahead.
