Samsung mobile prices in Pakistan currently range from around Rs. 35,500 for the Galaxy A07 to about Rs. 680,000 for the top Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra configuration. Samsung is the only global brand in Pakistan that competes seriously at every price point — entry-level, mid-range, flagship and foldable.

Samsung is also the only major premium brand that actually assembles phones inside Pakistan. Lucky Motor Corporation, a Lucky Cement subsidiary, has been assembling Samsung devices at its Port Qasim plant in Karachi since December 2021, under a Mobile Device Manufacturing authorization issued by the PTA. This is the single most important fact behind Samsung's pricing here, and it is explained in detail further down.

Samsung produced 4.18 million units in Pakistan during FY 2025-26, roughly 10.65% of the country's 39.23 million total, placing it fourth behind Vivo, Tecno and Infinix. It is not the volume leader, but it is the strongest brand in the upper-mid and premium Android segments.

The current lineup is the Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy S26 FE, the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra and Z Flip8 foldables, and the Galaxy A, M and F series in the budget and mid-range brackets.

Galaxy S Series Price in Pakistan

Market prices for PTA-approved units, base storage, September 2026. The official list price is shown alongside because Samsung's own recommended price and the street price differ noticeably on this series.

The discounts on older Ultra models are the notable line here. A Galaxy S24 Ultra at roughly Rs. 317,000 against an original Rs. 470,000 is a far better camera and display package than a new mid-range phone at the same money.

Samsung launched three foldables at its Unpacked event in London on 22 July 2026. Note that the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is the direct successor to the Z Fold7 with the familiar tall book-style design, while the Galaxy Z Fold8 is a new wider 4:3 model.

Foldable pricing in Pakistan is the least stable part of Samsung's range and varies widely between retailers and storage variants. Treat these as guide figures and confirm the exact variant price before paying. The Z Fold8 Ultra ladder runs approximately Rs. 540,000 for 12GB/256GB, Rs. 585,000 for 12GB/512GB, Rs. 620,000 for 16GB/512GB and Rs. 680,000 for 16GB/1TB.

This is Samsung's volume range in Pakistan and where most buyers actually shop.

Galaxy M and F Series Price in Pakistan

The M and F series are value-focused lines built around large batteries, usually sold online rather than through retail counters. Current listings run roughly Rs. 52,000 for the Galaxy M17e, about Rs. 83,000 for the Galaxy M47, and around Rs. 87,000 to Rs. 100,000 for the Galaxy F70 Pro depending on the seller. Availability is patchier than the A series, so check stock before committing.

Locally Assembled vs Imported Samsung — Why the Prices Differ

This is the part that explains Samsung's pricing better than any spec sheet, and most price pages skip it entirely.

Pakistan's tax structure deliberately penalizes fully built imports and rewards local assembly. Importing a completely built unit costs roughly 25 to 30 percent more than importing the same device as a knocked-down kit for local assembly. That policy worked: the FBR Chairman told the National Assembly Standing Committee on Finance in June 2026 that around 95 percent of phones used in Pakistan are now locally assembled, with only 5 percent imported fully built, across 37 local assembly plants.

Samsung sits on both sides of that line. Its A-series and other mid-range models are assembled at Port Qasim and priced accordingly. Its Galaxy S and Galaxy Z flagships arrive as completely built imports and carry the full duty load, which is why the gap between a Galaxy A57 and a Galaxy S26 Ultra is far wider in Pakistan than in most other markets.

Two recent policy developments matter here:

• Regulatory duty cut, effective 1 July 2026. The Budget 2026-27 reduced regulatory duty on imported phones by 20 percent, which the FBR estimated would lower the price of expensive imported handsets by around Rs. 14,000 per device.

• Proposed 20 percent Federal Excise Duty on imported CBUs. Under the Mobile and Electronic Devices Manufacturing Policy 2026-33 finalized by the Engineering Development Board, the government proposed a 20 percent FED on completely built imported phones, where none currently exists, alongside a Rs. 56 billion technology investment fund. This is a proposal rather than a rate you are paying today, but if it is implemented it would raise flagship prices sharply while leaving locally assembled models largely untouched.

The practical takeaway for a buyer in 2026: locally assembled Samsung models offer more stable pricing, while flagship and foldable pricing is exposed to both the dollar rate and pending policy changes.

Which Samsung Should You Buy in Pakistan

Two picks worth calling out. The Galaxy A36 5G is the value sweet spot for most buyers — 5G, AMOLED and Samsung's update policy for roughly Rs. 105,000. And the Galaxy S24 Ultra at around Rs. 317,000 is the most sensible flagship purchase in the range right now, because it delivers Ultra-class cameras and the S Pen for less than a new Galaxy S26 while still receiving years of updates.

One thing to check before buying a Galaxy S26 or S26 Plus

Samsung uses two different processors for the S26 line depending on region. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy ships in North America, China and Japan, while the Exynos 2600 goes to all other regions — which includes Pakistan. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is reported to use Snapdragon in all markets.

This matters if you are comparing benchmark scores or reviews published for US units, because a Pakistani Galaxy S26 will not be the same chip as the one reviewed. Confirm the model number on the box before you pay.

PTA Tax on Samsung Phones in Pakistan

If you buy a Samsung locally from an authorized dealer, PTA tax is already included and there is nothing further to pay. It only applies to phones you bring in yourself, receive from abroad, or buy as non-PTA stock.

Tax is calculated by the FBR, not by PTA, using an assigned customs value per model. It does not change with storage size.

These are estimates. DIRBS generates the exact amount live when you submit your IMEI, using the dollar rate on the day you pay. Passport registration typically saves Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 30,000 on a flagship compared with CNIC registration.

One option many buyers do not know about: PTA approval for the Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra can be paid in monthly instalments through Alfa Mall rather than as a single lump sum, starting from around Rs. 7,600 and Rs. 9,025 per month respectively on a 36-month plan, plus a one-time processing fee.

PTA Registration Rules

To check status, dial *#06# for your IMEI and send it to 8484, or use dribs. Always verify the IMEI yourself before paying a private seller. A seller's screenshot proves nothing.

5G and eSIM on Samsung Phones in Pakistan

Pakistan now has commercial 5G. PTA auctioned 480 MHz of spectrum on 10 March 2026 for USD 507 million, with Jazz taking 190 MHz, Ufone 180 MHz and Zong 110 MHz. Licenses were issued on 19 March 2026 and Jazz and Zong launched the same day, with Jazz covering roughly 180 sites across Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan and Faisalabad. Coverage is urban and phased, not nationwide.

This matters more for Samsung buyers than for iPhone buyers, because Samsung still sells both 4G and 5G versions of the same model here. The Galaxy A17 and Galaxy A17 5G are different phones at different prices, and the same applies across much of the A series. If you live in a 5G city and plan to keep the phone three or more years, paying the premium for the 5G variant is worth it. If you are in a smaller city, it is not yet.

Operator change to note: Telenor Pakistan was merged into PTML on 1 July 2026 and now trades as Ufone 5G. Pakistan has three operators today — Jazz, Zong and Ufone 5G.

All three support eSIM on prepaid and postpaid. Jazz has generally offered conversion free, while Zong and Ufone typically charge around Rs. 2,000. Activation needs biometric CNIC verification. Samsung flagships from the Galaxy S20 onwards support eSIM, and unlike the iPhone Air, every Samsung sold in Pakistan still has a physical SIM slot.

Samsung Software Updates — Seven Years

Samsung's update policy is the strongest argument for buying its flagships, and it is the main thing separating a Galaxy S from a similarly priced Chinese Android phone.

Seven years of updates changes the resale maths significantly. A Galaxy S24 Ultra bought used today will still be receiving Android upgrades well into the 2030s, which is why discounted previous-generation Ultras are the best value in Samsung's Pakistani range.

Samsung Warranty and Service in Pakistan

Samsung has the widest authorized service network of any premium brand in Pakistan, covering major and secondary cities. This is a genuine advantage over Apple, whose service footprint is limited to a handful of authorized providers in four cities.

A few practical points:

• Samsung showrooms and brand shops in Pakistan do not handle repairs. You must go to an authorized service center. Use the service locator on Samsung's Pakistan site to find the nearest one.

• Samsung's contact center number for Pakistan is 0800-72678, and warranty claims can be initiated by phone before submitting the device.

• Extended warranty can be purchased from Samsung's site or any authorized service center. It covers hardware repairs and battery replacement, but not accidental damage or cosmetic scratches like dents.

• Samsung has run promotions including one year of screen repair coverage on Galaxy S phones. Check what is bundled at the time of purchase rather than assuming.

Instalments and Trade-In

Samsung Pakistan runs trade-in and buy-now-pay-later programs directly through its own store, including 12-month BNPL plans and trade-in credit against the Galaxy S26 series. Bank instalment plans through Bank Alfalah, HBL and platforms like Qist Bazaar are widely available, frequently at 0% markup for up to 12 months on flagship models.

Given that a Galaxy S26 Ultra costs more than most motorcycles in Pakistan, compare the instalment total against the cash price before committing. A 0% plan is genuinely free credit; a marked-up plan is not, and the difference is often buried in the processing fee.

New or Used Samsung — What to Check

Samsung's long update policy makes its used flagships unusually safe purchases compared with other Android brands. A three-year-old Galaxy S is still a supported, current device.

What to verify before paying for a used unit:

• PTA status via the IMEI on the official portal. This is the single biggest factor in both usability and resale value.

• Battery health. Dial *#0228# to see battery voltage and status, or check Battery in Device Care. Samsung batteries typically need replacing after three to four years of heavy use.

• Screen burn-in on AMOLED panels. Display a solid grey image full screen and look for ghosting of the navigation bar or status icons. This is the most common defect on used Samsung flagships and the hardest to reverse.

• Google account removed. Factory Reset Protection will lock the phone to the previous owner's account otherwise.

• Foldables specifically: inspect the hinge, check for any lifting of the screen protector on the inner display, and unfold and refold it several times listening for grinding. Foldable hinge and inner-screen repairs are expensive and not always available locally.

Samsung or iPhone in Pakistan

This comparison drives a lot of buying decisions here, so it is worth being direct about where each brand actually wins.

Put simply: below Rs. 250,000, Samsung has no real Apple competition in Pakistan, because the cheapest iPhone starts above that. Above it, the decision comes down to whether you value Apple's resale strength or Samsung's after-sales coverage and hardware variety.
